By participating in the International Symposium for two days from November 17, I was able to get hands-on experience in symposium management. The main thing about this symposium is that the students take the lead, and we plan and manage them. First-term Students set up and ran everything from lectures by guest speakers to poster sessions and workshops. The topics covered were tremendously interesting for the people attending the event, and at the same time, they really set the standard for next year’s planning. I would like to use what I have learned this time to organize an even better symposium the next time.
