Outreach exercises form the most practical curriculum for achieving an introspective intelligence. On November 14 and 15, 2015, eight Program Pilot Students were divided into two teams and they made joint presentations at the Science Agora (an all-Japan science and technology communication event sponsored by the Japan Science and Technology Agency). At the two experience booths that operated under the titles “Brilliant! Rare Earth Complexes Light Up the Future!” and “Let’s Experience the Strongest Gel and the Transparent Ink That Light Up the Future,” we were able to learn about the relations between scientists and society as a whole by communicating with a wide variety of people about science and technology.
