On February 8, March 7, and March 14, 2016, the industry paper Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, as part of its manga series Kirari Kenkyu Kaihatsu, ran a two-part feature entitled “From Hokkaido University to the World! Creating Leaders in Materials Science.” The feature covered our program and introduced three of the students (Riku Takahashi, Fumihiko Nakamura, and Kiyoshi Tsunoda). This science manga is a well-received series, and its artist Hayanon covers her work in a concise manga format based on experiences of her visits to see cutting-edge R&D projects.
