AcademistMr. Shinji Noguchi (Hokkaido University Ambitious Leader's Program Fostering Future Leaders to Open New Frontiers in Materials Science / Hokkaido University DX Fellowship student/ Hokkaido University doctoral course 1st year) was selected for the Prize, and monthly support crowdfunding started from November 1st. is challenging.
The name of the challenge is "Build infinite colors using common elements!"
We will expand with the hashtag “#I want to build infinite colors”.
Dr. Noguchi hopes to solve the problems of existing coloring methods by creating a color-developing body that can control color development and permanently develop color unless the structure is destroyed. Our lives are colored with a wide variety of colors. Organic dyes and inorganic pigments are used for coloring, but there are issues with durability and safety in coloring these substances. In particular, organic pigments are unsuitable for long-term coloring because their molecules decompose and fade when exposed to ultraviolet light. Although inorganic pigments are highly durable, some pigments may contain metallic elements that are harmful to the human body.
Therefore, Dr. Noguchi is thinking of solving the problems of the existing coloring methods by creating a new coloring body that will permanently color unless the structure is destroyed, without using scarce metal resources (such as rare metals). .
You can support up to 330 yen to 3300 yen per month. Details of the project can be found here. The progress of the project will be reported from Mr. Noguchi at any time in the "Activity Report".
This activity is an attempt to outreach his research to the society through crowdfunding. Also, please feel free to send us your frank opinions. Mr. Noguchi will answer with sincerity. Thank you for your support.
