2023年3月28日（火）、北海道大学博士課程DX教育プログラムに参加している大学院生10名と社会人2名（北海道電力株式会社）が富良野市役所にて2つの課題「富良野市民の省エネ行動変容によるカーボンニュートラルの促進」と「富良野スキー場の若年層の顧客開拓」について提案を行いました。住みよいまちづくりに向けて「2050年ゼロカーボンシティ」を目指す同市の活動、新しい同市の冬の魅力を見つけ出し、観光活性化に向けた立案に繋げることが目的です。昨年2022年8月より日本オラクル様のデータ活用ワークショップや現地訪問を通してグループワークを続けてきました。発表会場となった富良野市新庁舎（2022年9月竣工）の議場には多くの関係者が集まり、また、オンラインでも50名以上のみなさまに参加していただきました。ご支援いただいた、富良野市様、日本オラクル様に御礼申し上げます。

He proposed that local governments, business operators, and citizens work together to build a recycling system that benefits from ecological activities, and to develop sustainable energy-saving activities.
各チームの発表後、稲葉武則氏（副市長）、石森浩一郎氏（北海道大学副学長）、本多充氏（日本オラクル執行役員）より感想とフィードバックが伝えられました。富良野市が管理しているデータを分析し可視化したり、現地の視察やヒヤリングを通じて具体的な提案に落とし込んだことが評価されました。
