グローバルリーダーに必要な5つの力　＃05 内省的知力

「内省的知力」とは、メタな視点から客観的に自分を分析する力、さらに言い換えると専門分野に閉じこもることなく、社会へのアンテナを張って自身との相関性を考える力であるととらえています。次代の社会人になる皆さんには、自分の仕事や研究が社会に与える影響を想像し、専門外の人や市民のみなさんに納得してもらえる言葉で誠実に対話する力、社会で起きている事象を傍観せず、当事者としてコミットする意識を育んでもらいたいです。勿論、そのような知力は短期間で獲得できるものではなく、定期的にリフレクションする姿勢が重要です。

For that reason, it is ideal to have an environment where you can study over the five years of the master's and doctoral programs. Companies have also praised us, saying, "Because graduates of the doctoral course have the experience of thoroughly thinking about one field, they are able to demonstrate their ability to discover problems in other fields." We faculty members also support students during the first and second half of the master's course by providing a place of learning that nurtures social sensitivities and trains the introspective intelligence necessary for leaders in the future.
